Mommy & Me - Guilty

I haven't been in the photos with my burritos lately. This is the latest I could find which was taken during my husband and I's wedding anniversary. Can you tell how guilty I am for leaving them at my FIL's home while my husband and I went for a dinner date? LOL, yup, I am not really used to leaving them.

Saying Sorry

My husband once told me that in the military, saying sorry is a sign of weakness and I keep telling him that it might be a sign of weakness but when you're at fault, you have to say and mean it.

We do however say sorry to each other whenever we do something undesirable. For me saying sorry is not sign of weakness but a sign of maturity. Why maturity? Because you are mature enough to admit your mistake. This is my short entry to..

Happy Go Lucky

Two shots that I took of my happy go lucky young lady. These were taken at my FIL's back porch after church. We always go to his house after attending mass.

This would be the last day of my kindergärtner's first week of school. So far she is doing so good. According to her teacher, she is doing excellent! Thanks for making us proud Rye!

These last two shots were also taken in front of MY FIL's house while we were visiting.

Taking pictures is what keeps me busy whenever we are driving somewhere. I took these shots when we went to Pittsburgh a couple of weeks ago. Pardon for the poor angle of the photos. It is hard to get a good picture when the vehicle is moving, let alone my camera is not that good hehehe.

Super Snouts

Oh Lord, I have been meaning to upload photos I took about the animals in Pittsburgh Zoo but my life is so busy these days. I told my friend that I would take care of her baby when she goes back to work but I don't think I could do it with my schedule, whew!

We actually just got back from the Vet, we brought Champ there to have his leg checked because his cast was coming off already and it was irritating his thigh. Good thing he is healing up already so the Vet removed his cast. He is due for a last xray on Tuesday.

Anyhow, here are the shots I took of the "super Snouts".. Elephants.

It was so hot when we went there last weekend so these giant beauties were dusting off their body.

Good thing that they have water to swim too.

We went inside the building where elephant can rest and eat and the place where kids can pet them for $15 fee. We just indulge our eyes watching the elephant and did not bother to pet them, too expensive lol.

New Haircut for Hubby

I have been wondering how my husband would look like with a very short hair. He doesn't like it because he said he look horrible. Well, I was surprised when he cut it yesterday just like what I wanted. I helped him trimmed the back part and here it is presenting you my hubby's new hair style. It doesn't look bad right? Thistles and Butterfly

I took these shots during our Panhandle Trail walk a couple of weeks ago. I did not know that this wild plants are called thistles until I saw it in one of the blogs I have visited last week. I only knew thistles in the pixie hollow (Tinkerbel) hahaha. The cartoon picture is so different from the real thistles.

I had so much fun shooting all these especially with the presence of the butterfly!

Thistles are thorny so I was really careful when I was walking to take some photos.

Lovely isn't it? I am so grateful to this butterfly for posing for me, she did not fly when I approached the place hehehe.

If all the subject of the photo shoot is like this beautiful and graceful butterfly, a photographers contentment is full hehehe.

The EYE!

My daughter has dark brown eyes like me. I wish that she could have had her Dad's eye color because it's real pretty for a girl. I guess her eyes are cute even though the color is like mine lol. What do you think?

I took these shots yesterday when she was in the mood to make faces in front of the camera. She wanted me to take a picture of her nose but then I focused on her eye lol.

Cute Body Parts

I used to take photos os my kid's cute body [arts such as arms, egs, chubby cheeks, eyes, and so on when they were babies. But now that they are getting big, taking pictures of them is a little bit harder. I find a baby who is so cute though to photograph with, its our new baby in the family. Can you guess who is this?

Playing Tricks

My son is very hard to photographed these days. I mean, I get excited when he tells me to take a picture of him but when I got the camera and ready for some action, he would intentionally run away from me or act goofy lol.

Look at that, he told me to take a picture of him but then he offered his hand when I snapped the camera hahaha.

Oh well, that's the joy of having a boy lol, can't sit still. You can't even tell him to say cheese because he will say different funny word like "nort" lol.

Stickers, labels, tags, etc.

My son was so tickled when he received two packages of stickers from an online friend of mine. Thanks a lot Mel for making my son happy. There is something magical on stickers that makes most of the kids go gaga lol. I was looking for some affordable address labels as we ran out already of our stock. I found some really neat designs at fricknet.com and pricing are within my budget too.

Sky Rocket Electric Bill

I was so happy when we received our electric bill last month because it was only $68.39. I was like "Alright, it finally went down!" I was dismayed however when I got the bill for this month because it jumped from that amount to $249.61. Oh my gosh, what the heck is going on? It turned out that last month was an estimated reading. I am pissed that they are not reading the actual usage, why do they have to guess of what we actually used. Geez, this makes my blood boiling to the max grrrr.. I just wish that they would do their job and read the meter all the time so we won't have these very low and very high bills.

Exotic Flower

I find this wild flower very exotic looking. I saw this at Jefferson County Airport when we watch the mini airshow. I love the feel of that airport because it is like a private airport where its not busy, no commercial flight, you know what I mean? I would love to watch it again next year, hopefully our friends will invite us again hehehe.

Scrubs and Beyond

My close friend who is a Licensed Practitioner Nurse or LPN at the hospital here in our area is looking for some new nurse scrubs that would fit her now that she is 7 months pregnant. I thought that when you were pregnant you are excused from wearing your uniform but I was wrong. Of course that was lame of me for thinking that lol.

There are so many ways where you can alter your uniform to accommodate your present situation. I think, she hires one of the tailors in downtown to make her a new one. Although I could have suggested the selection of cherokee medical scrubs and the landau medical scrubs at Scrubs and Beyond, I know that she won't listen anyway as she gets discounts from this particular tailor hahaha.

Anyhow, looking at the selection of nurse scrubs and other accessories for nurses at Scrubs and Beyond make me wish that hubby could have continued in his nursing degree. He was almost done with it but changed his mind when we came back here from Korea. Whew, men change their minds often too.. not just women lol. Ducks

I took these shots when we went for a walk at Panhandle Trail. The mother duck has a seven ducklings and she is leading them the way. It's a pleasure to watch them swim and see the family essence in them.

Little Gesture.. Big Love

One thing that I really love the most when we go for a family walk is the flowers I received from my my kids. They might not be the most beautiful flower on earth but those little gestures that they do includes big LOVE which makes Mom's heart melt. Got these from my daughter and hubby when we went for a walk at Panhandle Trail.

Driving Differences

When we were invited by our friends to watch an airshow at Jefferson County Airport, we followed our friend Raquel's vehicle as we did not know how to go there. We were surprised to see how fast Ms. Preggy drives lol. Whenever I am driving, my husband always tease me that I drive like a grandma (very slow). I am scared to speed up hahaha. Me and Raquel have a lot in common but obviously, we have driving differences hahaha.

Opposite Attracts

I am late with my entry but oh well, I would still post this lol. My CPU is still at the computer shop and it won't be back till tomorrow wahhh. The topic this week over at Couple's Corner is Total Opposite. Actually we just have quite a few of this, we pretty much alike in many things.

Blooms in my Garden

Pink and Blue Sky in Jeju Island Korea

This was taken during our last getaway in Korea. We went to the beautiful Jejudo or Jeju Island. This is a kids museum that we passed by when we went for a walk to look for a local cuisine place in the area. Ain't the sky look so pretty?
