Sun flower, Cosmos, Etc..

My lone sun flower at our front yard. Birds  look forward to this  big sun flower.  They seem to   save one seed  that comes back every year.
A beautiful shadow underneath the slide at Clarke Field Park, in Hancock County.
A random shot I took of the Mountaineer Casino.
My cosmos are now blooming.  I only have yellow though.  I wish to  have more colors like white and pink.  Maybe next year, I will add some other colors.
My son and I planted some hibiscus by our fence and they are now blooming.
Sometimes I get confused of  the names of the flowers  because some people calls them differently.  some people call hibiscus rose of sharon so I searched it  and wikepedia gave me this result.

Hibiscus syriacus is a widely cultivated ornamental shrub in the genus Hibiscus. Common names include Rose of Sharon, Shrub Althea, Rose Althea and St Joseph's rod. Wikipedia

Bring your Ideas to Life with AstroBrights Paper

This post brought to you by Astrobrights Papers by Neenah Paper. All opinions are 100% mine.

AstroBrights papers can bring your ideads to life, it would showcase  your creativity in a bright and   fun way.  School classes will start  here real soon and that means that I would be   so busy with school stuff again since I have two students that  is going to school this school year so it would definitely take a lot of my time.  We did not go to a major vacation this year so we bought some arts and crafts supplies  to keep our two kids busy at home especially  on rainy days like today

As I entered the "Give a Brighter Year" sweepstakes that astrobrights  is sponsoring, I am  hopeful that somehow I could be  lucky to win the  grandprize which is $30,000 worth  of school supply that  an elementary  school of my choice would  enjoy.  My children's school does not really  get a lot of funding from the governmenet as it is a private school so the prize would really help them have  some extra school supply that the  kids can use.  I thank AstroBright for sponsoring this kind of  sweepstakes  and give  elementary school a chance to have  those extra  school supplies  for free.

Another  program that  Astrobrights  has is the family-friendly "Make something astrobright" challenge which will showcase  individuals creativity using the Astrobrights papers.    Ever week, they  have a theme for the challenges which you can participate into and have a chance to win some   fabulous prizes to up to $400 visa gift card.  Please check out the challenges and enter their sweepstakes as well.  Just visit the link provided  above and follow the directions on how to enter.  Participate and share your ideas and be rewarded with it.

Drive Scrubber

My husband made one of our neighbors very nervous  a couple of months ago.  They put out their computer set during the trash pick-up day and my husband noticed it so he asked them if they clean out their hard drive before   throwing it away.  They hurried up and looked  to see if the hard drive was still there but some had already picked it up.  things like that when happened is scary because  it can lead to  identity theft if they crack the  personal information and other documents that they had from their hard drive.  You should learn  how to clean hard drive so that when you are ready to toss  or get  rid of your old PC, you know how to erase all your information from your  hard drive.

Champie

He is  my loyal companion when I am gardening.  Rain or shine, he doesn't leave me.
Our Jack Russel Terrier, Champ, is turning 3 years old  in a couple of months.  He is hyper active but very loving.

Kindle

Because of competition,  you can find kindle online for a very low price.  With the digital  gadget so affordable these days, most people own one.   Either it's a kindle, a  laptop, an iPad, and any other  gadgets available in the market.   It's amazing that kids these days can learn  how  to use a gadget very easily.  MY seven year old daughter can figure out stuff on the computer  very easy.  Sometimes, she would change the setting on my phone and I  would  ask her to put back my old setting.

Power of Wisdom and Enlightenment

"Clouds symbolize the veils that shroud God."
-Honore De Balzac-
"Always keep your mind as bright and clear as the vast sky, the great ocean, and the highest peak, empty of all thoughts. Always keep your body filled with light and heat. Fill yourself with the power of wisdom and enlightenment."

Zebu and Zebrula

Photo credit goes to the above mentioned  source.
I found two critters  that starts with letter Z. First one is the Zebu, it is a domesticated ox having a humped back and long horns and a large dewlap.  They are   used chiefly as a draft animal in India and east Asia.  Below is a photo by Loonie Hoover posted at buffalocreekfarmandcreamery.com.

The second  Z critter is the Zebrula, a cross between a male zebra and a female horse.  Below are photos from Never Ending Story blog.  Zebrula is also called Zorse, it is  a zebroid, specifically the offspring of a zebra stallion and a horse mare.
I was going to include the Zemni, the blind mole rat (Spalax typhlus) which is native of Eastern Europe and Asia but I couldn't find a photo with no copyrights So I scraped the idea. Oh, before I  forgot, do you know that mourning dove is  also known as Zenaidura?

Family Law

Family law, divorce law, business law, criminal law, and medical malpractice are just some of the expert legal services that Stewart Esten law provides.  You can   find the full list of their services by visiting stewartesten.ca.  They have been providing legal services   for 141 years   which led me to believe that   their reputation has been long established.  It is always nice to hire  someone who is  an expert to represent  your case  because you can be confident that you will be represented well.

This reminds me of the  lawyer that we hire to represent on behalf of our claim.  It's been two years but the case is still processing.  My husband is frustrated already and he told me to mind as well forget about it.  The legal system in my country  move like a turtle, it is so slow that most of the time, cases just get idle and forgotten.  I admire the legal system here  in the States and other countries like Canada because they are  very fast in  producing result.

Antlers

I find these neat displays at Cabela's during our last visit.  Photos were taken by my Samsung Galaxy phone.
This air plane model is also  pretty

Secret of Youth

When I came here in the States,  was seven months old pregnant with our first child  so I brought  with me some  medicines that I was comfortable using.  Some of   those are herbal medicines that I  grew up using.  In the place where I grew up in, we never really went  to the doctor  or hospital unless it's a quite serious situation.  We always have a medicinal plants in our backyard to cure  illnesses.  I'll give you one specific  example of the herbal  plant that we used to cure wound, the oregano.  We never used that plant to cook so when I came here in the States, I was surprised to know that  it is being  used for cooking purposes.

We also used some beauty products that  are Asian in origin.  I remember some of  the colleagues I knew were very fond of using  the  Chin Chun Su cream  (not sure if  I remember the name correctly).  It did work  great on their faces so I tried it too but  it wasn't something that I am comfortably suing so after a  week, I stopped lol.  With that being said, I would like to share to you an article I have found online about the   secret of youth at the Solstice Medicine blog.

Reading this website  somehow brings me back memories when I was still in my country using  some products that  are similar to what they have in their site.  Based from what I read, Chinese believe that  the secret of youth is in the oriental ginseng plant.  The root of the ginseng  plant is highly prized in the Chinese medicine which led me to believe that  it's really a good ingredients  that  produces results.    China is the leading producers when it comes to a lot of stuff and medicine is one of the products that they take pride of.  Does anyone of you uses herbal medicine in treating some   health issues?

Birthday Balloons

I love this quote by Thandie Newton.

"Then I became a mother and it just fills every space, that isn't filled with something else important. It's just like this incredible balloon that blows up and fills life up."

Locking Mailboxes

Few years ago,  a group of teenagers pulled a prank  in our neighborhood's mailboxes, they thought it's cool to  bust the mailboxes.  All of us reported a complaint about the incident  and the city responded and offer to reimburse us with the cost, all we have to do is to submit an estimated  cost for it.  We decided to just let it go and  just bought a  new mailbox, the teens were reprimanded with what they did anyway.

There are secure mailboxes residential that you can find online.  MailboxIxchnage has a huge list of lockable mailbox for sale with different style and features.  Good  thing about this locking feature is that, no one could ever   get into your  correspondents.  This is a good one to have if  there are individuals messing with your mails. If you are planning to buy new  mailbox whether for  residential or commercial purposes,  visit the above mentioned  website through the links.  They have  a big selection that you can choose from.

Chelsea and the Burritos

We got reunited with Chelsea, the pomeranian dog that we gave to our friend. They invited us for the 4th of July party. They shaved her hair which made her thinner but she looks pretty with short hair.
She showed us some tricks like sitting pretty, rolling over, and standing up to her  tippy toes.  It was a joy to watch.  Mr. Burrito asked us if we could have Chelsea back lol.
It's amazing how she still recognizes us.  She is better living with them  because they have a huge land that she could run around to.

Ice Cream Cake

Me and my SIL shared birthday on the same month. She celebrates hers on 5 days after mine. The photos were taken during her birthday celebration at my FIL's.  The kids  blew bubbles at the backyard.
Spotted these shadows at my FIL's outside of the house wall.
She  had ice cream cake.  The kids did the honor in blowing the candles lol.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Get the law on your side

Since the onset of the economic crisis, many Americans are facing a number of legal challenges.  This is especially true with business owners and home owners.  This administration seems to be coasting by with no real plan to fix the problem, so many businesses may be forced to close their doors and call it quits.  There is help available for businesses in North Carolina.  Experienced raleigh nc lawyers are ready to fight for you and your business.  The key is to take action before it is too late.

Connect 4

One of Mr. Burrito's favorite game, Connect 4. When  he does not want to play the game, he love stacking them up.
I always tell my kids that they are  very lucky to enjoy so many things during childhood as I never got to experienced any of these things when I was growing up.  I remember  in high school, I really wanted to play xylophone  but I couldn't because  you have to buy your own instrument.  I joined the drum and bugle corps of the school anyway even if couldn't be a xylophonist.  I joined the  drummer team instead because the drums are provided for by the school.

T-shirts that get noticed

We recently attended a welcome home party for a friend of the family.  He is a U.S. Marine returning from a second tour in the combat zone.  Some of the men at the party were easily recognized as former Marines because they each wore a U.S. Marines t-shirt to signify their unity and support for one another.  Even though they are all part of the Marine Corps family, the vast array of specialties begs to be identified in their own way.  A great way to express that specialization is to order custom marine shirts online.  These high quality custom designed shirts are a great way to get your unit noticed.

Power Lines

Photos were taken at downtown Weirton's Steel Mill.

I miss those double stroller days

It's great when your kids are very close in age.  Especially during the baby strollers months.  We lived in Korea when our kids were that small, so we chose to purchase a double stroller.  Being that we were always on the go, it was important to have a stroller that was lightweight, compact, and durable.  The Baby Jogger City Select stroller for twins covers all the bases and it looks nice too.

Cleome Bloom

I only have a few cleome that came back this year in my garden.  I had  so many of this pink beauties last year.

Drinking Station

A kid-friendly and attractive drinking station at Kennywood park.
If you were a kid, would you use it to drink?  Do you think it helps  a child's interest to drink in it or do you think it would scare  them?

Personal Psychic

When love is in the air and you want to make sure that you and your partner is heading to the right direction, try the psychic power.  You can get a  powerful advice from a psychic love advisor available at Gold Psychic website.  There are different kinds of psychic professionals  that offers  psychic reading.  I  am sure that each of us have questions that we want to know the answers but sometimes it is hard to find the answers for it.  Psychic reading is  actually one of the things that I want to try when I was  still single but now that I am married,  my questions are answered already  so I set it aside.

How about you, do you have any experience   with psychic?  I always tell my husband that he has a psychic in him because he   has this ability to see things in advance although he can pinpoint  where and when it is going to happen.  Too bad, he can't see what number is going to  come out in the lottery, or else we can be millionaires now hahaha.  (I often wonder how these psychic  learn these stuff, do they  have it in them naturally or they  study  how to do it?

Yarrow

I have some Yarrows in my garden. According to  crossword clue solver  website, a Yarrow is an ubiquitous strong-scented mat-forming Eurasian herb of wasteland, hedgerow or pasture having narrow serrate leaves and small usually white florets; widely naturalized in North America.  Other varieties of yarrow flowers are pink, red, and yellow.  I only have the white ones.
They are beautiful in bloom, the only problem with this kind of plants is that it would took over  the space of other plants that is growing near it.  So I have to constantly thin  them out.
