The Proposal

In the school where I work in the Philippines, a lot of lady employees are single in their mid-30s and 40s. So when I turned 30 years old, I began to worry that I'll become one of the old maids there too. But thanks to the wonder of the Internet, I met the man of my dreams.
But anyhow, even before we we meet in person, we been talking about wedding plans and stuff so the proposal isn't really a formal one. We just clicked right away when we started chatting and talking on the phone everyday. So when he came to meet me, we discussed and scheduled our civil wedding.
His next visit was supposed to be a happy one because we were getting married but Papa died on that day of John's arrival in the Airport. I didn't find it out until the next day because I was in Manila with him. After dealing with my father's death, my mother advised us to go on with our marriage plan because that was what my father wanted. So we got married in civil and after a year we got married again in church.
We got married in the oldest church in the Bicol Region.

This tag is for all the ladies who want to share their proposal moment experience. Just grab it ladies!
