My kids and I share the same passion when in comes to gardening. We all love gardening, I could never do my gardening activity without them trying to help. This was taken a week before we leave Korea. I will miss the free flowers that is being supplied to every household every year at the base. But I am happy that we are back home.

Missing the Lake
One of the things that we misses being n Korea is our weekend routine of going to the lake and feeding the colorful fish in there. Our kids remember our experiences there so vividly that my son would ask us sometimes if we could go there and feed the fish again. I wonder if they uses pond skimmer over there. But yeah, we have done and created so much memories when we were there so It will be hard to forget about it especially whose only memory is Korea. Here's a shot of them feeding the fish with bread.

Serenity
I woke up early today because I wanted to start jogging again. I gained too much bilbil (tummy fat) during our three weeks vacation in the Philippines and my husband is teasing me about it. He said I look like preggy lol. During our family walk one day, he showed me the jogging trail here inside the base. I never jog there before so I tried it today and 'm glad I did. I had to bring my camera so I can capture the scenery and share it to you guys.
From our house, there's a road going up where the jogging trail starts.

Here's the start of the jogging trail.
I can't resist this dead but beautiful tree.
I saw something ran across here but I wasn't sure what it was.
I passed by this sign that says 1 mile. Yippeeee!
Then I continued with my goal going down..

This is at the bottom of the housing
Ain't this a very peaceful scene? I have to stop here coz I was running out of breath lol..
The end of the jogging trail... few more steps from here is the GYM but I didn't drop by because I was tired already.. This only shows that I am so out of shape wahhh... Next time I'll do it a little more faster without a camera on my hand hehehe..
By the time I was done, the sun is up. When I came home, my sweet hearts were awake and hubby is making pan cakes for breakfast.. Awesome! I got sick though when I stop, i got dizzy and laid down a bit.. Hubby said that it might be because of the yellow dust but I guess its because it's been a long while since I last jog. I'm sure God will take care of me from the Yellow Dust... amen!
Oh by the way, I've never done this before but I found out that if you bring some mint to chew in, you won't get thirsty. So there you go guys, my jogging adventure. Hope the scenery, could somehow give you some motivation for today...
Have a nice day folks. Thanks for dropping by and leaving your marks...

Mountain Park
One of the guy that we know from the church told us about this mountain park which is located just across the lake where we used to go on weekends. So we decided to drive around and check it out.

At first, we thought it is going to be a big park with open space. But when we reach the area, it was actually a huge mountain park where you can do exercise, picnic, and meditation. We looped around the mountain and reached the tunnel, when we came out the tunnel, we were on the express highway again lol.

So then we drove back again and this time we parked at the entrance and walk around the area.

It is beautiful out there. It's a relaxing place with fresh air and you can hear the chirping sound of the birds and smell the fresh scent of flowers and trees.

There's a family whose looking for something on this rocky part..

we strolled.... clicked... clicked.. and clicked..

Our little man, wanted to explore the mother nature too.

One, two, three.. Kimchee!

look at those wood carvings...

Look closely, a pretty chipmunk is sitting on top of the rock..

One of the temple where you can meditate..

I really admire the Korean people because they do take care of their environment and the Korean government really provide for their people.

Some of the buddha sculpture..

There's a lot of picnic tables like this...

There is also a stage with benches around it. I think they use it whenever there are ceremonies.

My model never gets tired of posing hehehe..

She's willing to pose in front of the camera.

And for the finale - beautiful flowers!

Thanks for dropping by folks!

Greener Living
These were taken by my husband when he drove the kids who attended Bible Study (August 2009) in Camp Walker, Daegu! I don't know exactly what are the names of these flowers but they are gorgeous!
I love this dahlia..
The beautiful black eyed susans..
The chapel where some of the BS was held.
I took this one at our garden here.
I was observing this ant that was walking in the big leaf so I snapped a pic of it.
These are the ones I took in the lake where we spent our weekend last week.
Lovely colors isn't it?
Isn't this lovely, the young leaves are in different color.
My husband took this one, he love the flow of the water...
I love how the branches of this tree looks..
An appealing sight.. for a lovely day.
I saw this bee feasting on the nectar of this flower so I I tried to capture her.
Here she is, I finally captured one. It took me several minutes to catch her in a steady position.
So who wouldn't want to stay here, very relaxing and so refreshing.
A great place to stay on weekend with family and friends. Have a great week guys!
