Favorite Disney Memories

The month of July was a magical moment for us this year. We decided to have our family  getaway in Disney World.  We actually planned the trip  few months  prior to the  trip.  We considered and looked at different Disney resorts Orlando but since all of us have never been there, we chose Disney World as our destination.  We got a pretty good deal as we  purchased a package deal that included our  plane tickets, car rental, and hotel accommodation.  When you are traveling for  four, you want to look for packages that could give you a discount and that's what we did.
Above is the picture I took before we  went for a log ride and got soaked (lol).  That's one of my daughter's favorite  ride although I did not like the  sudden drop but I am glad I went with them, now I know not to go next time.  My favorite part was the  safari tour where I've seen so many animals, that was a rough ride but it's all worth it.  Hubby and son were very fond of the Soarin we did at Epcot.  We got soaked, dizzy, and got  exhausted but we will definitely do it again if given a chance.

Relaxing

This cute fella was relaxing when the kids went t pet some of the goats in one of the attractions in Animal Kingdom.

The kids were so amazed that they can pet them and they were not running away.
I wish everyone a happy weekend.  Thanks for dropping by.

Puzzle Purrfect

One of the puzzles that my daughter love to work on most of the time. She can put this puzzle together faster than I do.

Family Travels

We have been blessed with opportunities to travel in some of the beautiful countries in Asia like the Philippines and Korea.  My family love to travel and we hope that we could  go in some places that we have never been yet like Europe and other travel destinations.

Below are some of the travels we've made in Asia.

Our getaway to the beautiful island of Jeju was our last  mini vacation in the land of  the morning calm, South Korea.  We had  a blast out there.

We went on  a mountain hike at Mt. Jiri, South Korea, a couple of months after we got there.  That was our very first  getaway.  It was a little tiring with two  kids in tow but nevertheless, we had so much fun on that hike.

Then we decided to go on another mountain trip but this time we did not climb but rode a cable car instead lol.

We  visited the Philippines twice while we were living in Korea.  Philippines is a beautiful country to  go for a vacation and very cheap too.

Planning a vacation  is  exciting. The key to finding deals on vacation is  browsing  online travels.  You just have to be resourceful in  digging up deals online.

Kiss

As the rain kissed her
in the early morning dawn
My curiosity sets in and wonder
Does the rose love those kisses?

Early Morning Color

It was one of those morning where you just can't open your eyes.  Your mind says "Wake Up!" but your body says "Stay in Bed".  You have to wake up anyway because you have  things to do.
As I was making my daughter's breakfast,
I glanced outside the window
and saw the joyful morning sky.
I got out the door with my camera and took  the beautiful early morning color.
Life is beautiful!  Got some of your favorite color?  Link  it up at

Baby Sparrow and the Intruder

Hi Baby Sparrow, are you lost?
No, I am not lost, but I am waiting for my Mom.
I can't fly yet so I am just walking around.  Mama told me that I'd be fine.
Well, are you going to be fine?
I guess I would be,  but I am scared of intruders like you.
Don't worry, you are safe with me. But I want to hold you   for a  brief moment so  I can show you to  my  children.
Note:
The baby sparrow was  unharmed after the photo shoot although the Momma Sparrow kept flying by and making weird noises.

Insects in our Backyard

A couple of days ago, my husband mentioned that he hasn't seen any praying mantis this year.  Well, this morning when I was  looking at my butterfly bush I saw one.  I called my  son and showed it to him.
I tried to let  him crawl in my hand but  he flew.
Then I went to our vegetable garden, I saw a much bigger one when I was picking the  beans.
I took a picture  of him and  he looked at me like saying "What are you doing?" Lol!  This one stayed there for a long time and Ms. Burrito got to see  him when she came home fro school.
I went back to the butterfly bush hoping that the little praying mantis came back but I found  this grasshopper instead.
I am so happy that there are  good insects in our  backyard.

Songs of the Rainforest

I don't know what exactly is being shown here, I just randomly took a picture of this Songs of the Rainforest display when we went inside the World of Animals attraction  in Animal Kingdom.  I remember there  was a long line of people who wants to see whatever is in there.
Our little man standing behind a  big gorilla? (Not sure if it's a gorilla)
