I was so happy when we received our electric bill last month because it was only $68.39. I was like "Alright, it finally went down!" I was dismayed however when I got the bill for this month because it jumped from that amount to $249.61. Oh my gosh, what the heck is going on? It turned out that last month was an estimated reading. I am pissed that they are not reading the actual usage, why do they have to guess of what we actually used. Geez, this makes my blood boiling to the max grrrr.. I just wish that they would do their job and read the meter all the time so we won't have these very low and very high bills.
We had that happen here, too a couple of years ago - and we got a permit to install 3-phase electric (for our business too) and it cut way back. Now, we're installing solar panels to help offset, too. It's ridiculous. They're hoping people don't notice, I think.
