In traveling, you really learn different things that you might not heard of get a chance to see. Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud is one of those things I have never heard of until we went to Pigeon Forge Tennessee. We didn't get to see the show but the outside appearance of the place really peaked my curiosity and learn what this place is all about.
It's one of those places in Pigeon Forge where you can enjoy a hearty meal and relive one of the most legendary stories of the South, the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud. The show gives the audience a chance to root for either side of the family, enjoy a hearty meal, and receive a few laughs along the way.
It said that when you get in, you will have unique experience that starts with guests being designated to either the Hatfield camp or the McCoy camp and provided with special seats that really keep the rivalry alive throughout the show.
The theater is supposed to be a ransacked look of a post-Civil War home. As you can see in the outdoor display, it's a really unique place.
Their Southern home-style feast includes fried chicken, pulled barbeque pork, Southern style creamy soup, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and Granny's famous specialty dessert. This would have been a great experience for all of us. This is one of those things, we didn't get to do due to time constraints.
But it's definitely another reason why we should go back there and enjoy the things we missed on our first visit.
We involve our children in decision making when we go somewhere else including where to eat and what things to do. For hubby and I, we always think of what the kids would like because we don't want hem to feel bored. I think when they are a little older, they might consider trying this kind of place.
