 I saw this big bird  at Pittsburgh Zoo.  He  was just watching all the  passers by maybe because there is a net on top  and he couldn't go anywhere.  Not sure what kind of bird is this though.

Blog Host

I have seen many bloggers who transferred from Blogger to Word Press and I am wondering if it's really that easy to do that. Lately, I have been trouble accessing my dashboard and it gets frustrating at times. I am thinking of transferring, well not my blogs, but one of my hubby's blog since I am (most of the time) is the one managing it, now that he is busy with school.

Sometimes, finding a blog hosting that really works great for you is a little challenging. Blogging is not just for your own satisfaction but for your readers too.  so if your blog host is acting up, chances  is that, your readers will leave without even bothering to read your posts.  And that is one thing, you do not want to happen.  Any advise you can give? Please feel free to share your experience by leaving your thoughts on this post.

 I bought these mini displays when we were still in Korea.  The two bottles with  toothpicks in it has two compartment, the outer part has   flower petals with oil while the inner one is where the toothpicks are.  

There's plenty of this kind of display in Korea and you can buy them in 1000 won store, a place like a dollar store.

Tried our Luck!

My husband tried his luck and played the lottery yesterday but unfortunately, only two numbers came out from his number combination hehehe. It would be so nice if we hit the jackpot but the odds of winning is very slim. I think it's probably the reason why some people try their luck in Online casino USA. Orchids and African Violet on Sale

We went to Lowe's the other day and looked for their fresh Pine tree. My husband wanted to have a fresh pine tree for our Christmas tree but I talked him out of it. With the amount that we pay for it and the plastic stand, it is expensive for a one time use of Christmas Tree.

What I found  made my day, the orchids and african violets were on sale for a a dollar each.

I never had any of these two plants before but I am trying my luck since they were on sale.

I bought two of each, let's see if they will survive on my care.

Hubby made me a planter for my plants so now they are not sitting in chairs lol.  Thanks Hon for making  it.

Our wall is full of art exhibits lol and I am not allowed to take it down.

Yay, it's turkey day once again.  Gobble, gobble, gobble.  Our  female burrito made this  festive artwork for Thanksgiving Day.  She used her  picture to put in the turkey's head.  Ain't she a cute turkey?

Yard Sale

Our niece Jen  are in the process of  relocating so she is getting rid of a lot of stuff.  She had a yard sale once  a couple of months ago and we bought this off from her.  I am thinking of making it as a Christmas Candle.  I will redecorate it if I could, put a red bow maybe and some poinsettia.  Let's see if I can create one lol.  Those three candles and candle holders only cost a  buck.

Circular Motion

Taken at PPG Aquarium in Pittsburgh Zoo.    The fishes above was moving in circular  motion when I took this photo.    I don't know if they were having some kind of parade but it was fun  watching them hehehe.

TV Insurance

When we bought our new TV a few months back, the sales representative offered us an affordable tv insurance. He explained to us the benefits and advantages of having one.  For a while there, we entertained the idea but then we opted not to.  Hubby said that if  the TV breaks down which will eventually happen, we will just get a new one.   With two kids who  constantly  watches TV, you can never predict what will happen to  your electronic gadget, so an insurance will be a good option.  

Experiment

Before my yellow rose  finally died, we made a little experiment, we put  some food color to the   water in the flower vase.  Since the flower is old, it didn't do much colors on the petals but the anthers has colors in them. Some of the petals fell off when I tried to move the vase.

There are some colors on the petals but not much.

I never did this kind  of experiment in school so I didn't know, thanks to hubby for  sharing the idea.

I have never experienced shopping during Black Friday. Why, you may asked? The answer is because we have two toddlers in two and it's not worth the hassle of dealing with the huge crowd. What we do though to avail of the deals is shop online, we can even buy the things we want before the Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I like the convenience of shopping online because you can do it at the very comfort of your own home. No gas expense and you don't have to deal with other people who wants to grab a lot of stuff.

Spider Man Fan

 Our son is definitely a spider man fan.  He has so many spider man  stuff like shirt, hat, and toys.  He would always say that he is the spider man in red (the good guy) and not the bad guy (the one in gray suit).

Tiny Weeny Burritos

The theme for this week's Mommy Moments is "So Little". I want to share this photos of my burritos when they first w went to Chuck E Cheese.   Our  male burrito is only one year old  when this photo was taken, he's too little to drive but he  tried his best to impress Mr. Chuck which is seated beside him.

Okay, this one doesn't look right but the female burrito is so innocent and excited about giving Chuck a hug.  She was so tiny here.  It's funny to see this picture hehehe.

Silver Dollar City

Branson vacations are the most ideal if your whole family is going for a getaway.  There are so many things to do, a lot of place to go to.  If ever we would be given a chance for a getaway, the Silver Dollar City is one of the place we want to visit.  Below is a picture (taken from the site) of the multi looping roller coaster that hubby and the kids would sure love to try.  I would be able to  try that ride though.  It is one of the most renowned them park attraction in Silver Dollar City.  

Battery Finder

When the cover of my husband's cellphone got lost, we tried to find another case that would  replace the whole casing but unfortunately, we did n not find one.  We even called the provider and visited their website to see if we could find a casing bu we  weren't lucky.  Due to the fact that his cellphone has no back cover, the battery is sometimes being loose.  I am worried that the battery will be lost  without him knowing next time.  If that happen, we will be the battery finder to find the right model for   motorola batteries  or better yet, replace the whole thing.  The problem is that, hubby has two years contract with that cellphone.  I was hoping that the provider will replace  the unit but unfortunately, we did not purchase the warranty.

A Walk with Champ

My husband has been training Champ to walk beside him when he is taking him for a walk. We used to just let him lead the way until we read this article that dogs should walk side by side with you so that they won't establish dominance over you.

It is a bit hard to  take our super hyper Champ for a walk because he would pull and pull until he is ready to pass out.  He is getting better now though.

The photos were taken last week when we brought Champ at my FIL's home for a visit.  My daughter and I took him for a walk around Dad's neighborhood.  Have a good day everyone!

One of my sisters emailed me and asked if she could have my old desktop computer.  I told her that the shipping is a lot expensive than what it actually cost.  I snooped around at  buy.com and saw this Apple Mac Mini MC270AA/L Desktop computer on their weekly deals.  I am not saying that I am buying it, I just find it very cute that there is a desktop computer this small.  I told my sister that I am still talking to myself if I am ready to  give away my laptop lol.  But let us see, I might or might not.

Sleeping Kitty

When we attended Gracie's birthday at Jen's house, I saw their cat sleeping on op of their cabinet.

She's sleeping like a log.

She found the right spot to sleep where no one will bother  her  peaceful nap, unfortunately an intruder like me won't stop from clicking the camera for camera critters hehehe.

Cottage Holiday Destination

Some of you might be planning to go for a holiday break and go visit places. Some are expecting family and friends to come over and spend the holiday with them. For family like us with limited budget, we will just spend our holidays here with our family.

Traveling is always one of my biggest dream.  I always wish to travel the word and visit places that  are remarkably beautiful.  I could only wish for those hehehe.  But for those of you who can afford, you might want to check out some of the  cottage holiday destinations like the  Holiday Cottages North Devon, a perfect fishing village and sailboarding.  Just by looking at the photo above, you can almost see what you are up to when you go there.

Christmas Gifts for Women

Meeting Place

This tree is always full of  black birds, I am not sure what kind are they but when they all come there, they are very noisy.  Sometimes, it gives me creep hehehe because their noise is very different.  I think this is their meeting place of sort.
