Reward.. credit card.. etc.

Since we paid off our balance to one of our major credit card, we don't use it anymore for purchase so I redeemed the points that we have earned and got this Jet Spa as a reward. Maybe this will fix my calluses in my feet lol.
Now, we are undecided if we have to keep the card or to just close it out. Hubby said that it's good to have since we have a big credit limit for it (20k). The downside of keeping it is that it will tempt us to spend more. But on the positive side, it will also save us just in case of emergencies and we don't have savings to spend. The effect hides any country reject into my economics.
The interest is not that bad, so let's see if we keep it or not. What do you say?

  1. I love the effect on your photo above. How do you do that? I am not very blogging literate on photo things.
Congrats, on paying of your debt. This is always a big relief. We just put some renovation cost on ours, but the interest rate is only 3.25%. It will get paid of quickly :)
Thanks for visiting my blog and becoming a follower. I am becoming one of your followers also.

    Blessings to you

  2. Use it, don't surrender it. You just have to exercise extreme discipline on your part so as not use it improperly. Not everybody can have a credit card with 20 grand as limit. There are so many advantages to own one. You can use it for cash advances in times of emergency and hard cash is not available. You can also use it to buy much needed appliance or gadget for your house where you pay the cash price on easier installment plan. Huwag lang magi indulge in luxuries or on cravings, lol. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

  3. I think you better keep it just in case bading. We do not know if we need money tomorrow, just control your self to use it in other un necessary things. Buti pa kayo bading wala ng utang kami still paying, walang kamatayang utang ng bayan waaaaaaa

  4. It is fine as long as you are having good control on the spending through the card.

  9. I say keep the card and use it only for emergency spending. Having foot spa is great, by the way! Even better for you because you can do it every time you like. Enjoy!
