Flag in the Woods

During our mini nature trek last Holy Saturday, we found this flag in the middle of the woods.  Someone had a  camp fire there and left the flag stuck  in one of the tree branches.
Wishing y'all a happy weekend!

  1. How odd that they'd go off and leave a flag like that. Good photos!

    1. Hi Kathe, yeah I don't like the new blogger interface but am still using the old one. I think it is optional, you just have to change your setting.

  7. Well, I think it's kind of nice to run into our flag out in the "wilderness" like that but, surely, they didn't mean to leave it behind.

I'm back from my four month visit to India and five days at the end in Hong Kong. Will try to return to India in a few months.

  8. Nice shots!

Burning on the ground destroys the soil. And why would someone abandon a flag?

  9. Rose isn't that something to run across on your nature trek .. makes one think doesn't it ? .. I know I would wonder if it was a Canadian flag .. that some one was thinking of our country and the people .. very thoughtful shadow shot !
