During our mini nature trek last Holy Saturday, we found this flag in the middle of the woods. Someone had a camp fire there and left the flag stuck in one of the tree branches.
Well maybe they are planning to return to this spot in the future. Either way, t made for a great photo along with the tree and its interesting fungi. Nice photos!
nice photo= thanks for not using word verification. Now if we could just get rid of the dreaded "new Blogger" that we have no choice as to use it or not.
Rose isn't that something to run across on your nature trek .. makes one think doesn't it ? .. I know I would wonder if it was a Canadian flag .. that some one was thinking of our country and the people .. very thoughtful shadow shot ! Joy PS .. loved the tree with its fungi .. makes them so interesting !
I don't know if I got ths comment through the first time so am trying again. My apologies if I posted twice. Nice, photos have great detail and I love a mystery. PI by profession. Thanks for dropping by my blog and the nice comments you have been leaving.
Love these photos! Interesting about finding the flag, kind of nice. I've seen a lot worse things that people leave behind after camping. The fungi on the tree is great. :-) Hope you have a great week.!
How odd that they'd go off and leave a flag like that. Good photos!
ReplyDeleteSad that the flag was left abandoned. It did leave a good photo op though. I really like the fungi on the tree!

ReplyDeleteHi Kathe, yeah I don't like the new blogger interface but am still using the old one. I think it is optional, you just have to change your setting.

ReplyDeleteLove your shadows and that fungi on the tree is unique.
Fine and bright photos.
ReplyDeleteWell, I think it's kind of nice to run into our flag out in the "wilderness" like that but, surely, they didn't mean to leave it behind.
ReplyDeleteI'm back from my four month visit to India and five days at the end in Hong Kong. Will try to return to India in a few months.

ReplyDeleteBurning on the ground destroys the soil. And why would someone abandon a flag?
