Powder Puff Blooms

My FIL calls this plant hollyhocks but based from the hollyhocks that I have seen through blogs, this is way different. Maybe this is a wild kind of hollyhocks but I don't know.
Since I don't know the real name of this flower, I call it Powder Puff as it looks like it.  I have so many of this in my flower bed.
They are now in full bloom which looks like this.
Hope you guys have a great weekend.

  10. That pink powder puff is really pretty. I'm certain it's not a hollyhock, but I don't know what it is. Powder Puff is a good description of it!

  11. Your Powder Puffs are actually a kind of double or triple petalled poppy, from the looks of the leaves. I have some that have seeded themselves in my garden and I am waiting ofr the flowers. I'll take some pics to share once they come out.

  12. Hi Rose,
Your flowers are actually Poppies, the double or maybe even triple kind. I have some of those in pinkish/orange shade, very beautiful! they multiply by re-seeding, lots of them will show up in the spring.
