My FIL calls this plant hollyhocks but based from the hollyhocks that I have seen through blogs, this is way different. Maybe this is a wild kind of hollyhocks but I don't know.
Since I don't know the real name of this flower, I call it Powder Puff as it looks like it. I have so many of this in my flower bed.
They are now in full bloom which looks like this.Hope you guys have a great weekend.

It's beautiful, I hope someone can identify it but Powder Puff seems to fit too :) Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love your blooms! I don't think I've seen a lot of those around here. so pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteThat pink powder puff is really pretty. I'm certain it's not a hollyhock, but I don't know what it is. Powder Puff is a good description of it!
ReplyDeleteYour Powder Puffs are actually a kind of double or triple petalled poppy, from the looks of the leaves. I have some that have seeded themselves in my garden and I am waiting ofr the flowers. I'll take some pics to share once they come out.
ReplyDeleteso beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Rose,
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are actually Poppies, the double or maybe even triple kind. I have some of those in pinkish/orange shade, very beautiful! they multiply by re-seeding, lots of them will show up in the spring.
The full bloom is very stunning... the details of every petals made it more beautiful. I'm just starting to study flowers...so sad I can't help naming it.
