Last Monday was our first time to witness a memorial day event here in Weirton. It was bright day dedicated to the fallen heroes who died for our freedom. Let us not forget their sacrifices and patriotism.
I don't know anyone who is blogging in the area so sometimes when I am taking photos, I feel like somebody is staring at me, when I look around, there is always one. I don't care though, photography is one passion that I love. Although I am not good at it but I love doing it.
For the fallen heroes, thank you so much for your sacrifices for us and for the whole country. For those who served and still serving the military, we salute you for your dedication!
Happy Memorial Day to you and your family. Keep on taking pictures and don't mind others who may criticize you. Inggit lang sila kasi marami kang readers. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful tribute to the heroes we should always remember, not just on a holiday. I'm glad you enjoy taking pictures and sharing them with us.

Sis, maybe they thought you were a journalist or something. :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, belated Happy Memorial Day to you!
Don't forget, one of the freedoms being fought for is the right to take photos at public events. Keep it up!

ReplyDeleteSome may think it disrespectful but if no-one takes photos, there will be no visual record of history.

ReplyDeleteBut sometimes, I feel the same...I am in a forest, for example, and I stop and I look around me..and in the city also I do the same...but often I see people with cameras and I ask myself: WHO IS THAT GIRL? WHO IS THAT MAN?
