People have different preferences. Some just love to explore the city and some prefer a different adventure. MY family love to go in the woods and discover things. It's very educational for the kids because they see things that you don't see in the city. It is also a healthy bonding for us, emotionally, physically, and mentally.
Spending a weekend exploring the woods is our bliss. During warm days, we usually spend most of our time outdoors.

Yes, I will join you in your prayers that this dream of yours will be graciously granted by God. Nothing is impossible for those who trust and believe in the Lord. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this kind of outing! Honestly I have had enough of city life, it's so draining. Looks like you had such a great time! Great photos, too!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very nice way to bond with the family. I wish we could do that here, though we usually spend it in the park where the little boys can play since they are just in the apartment most the time.
ReplyDeleteThis post reminds me that I should learn how to balance my time and do something loke this with my friends since wala pa akong kids and husband. Yung parents ko naman, they prfer a time spent at a beach :)
ReplyDeleteWe love both going about cities and woods, exploring the bike routes around our city. Cities for their modern architecture, the woods for their quietness. It's always good to bond like that. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that you have the beauty of the woods within your reach. I love seeing nature per se but I'm not sure if I can really hike or follow a trail. I'm not the outdoorsy kind of person but I love looking at vistas of mountains and valleys, but from a safer distance. :)
ReplyDeleteYour family is really a tight knit sis and I'm glad you enjoy activities such as nature tripping. Keep it up!
Beautiful nature and pictures of your family Sis Rose :-) My family as well loves nature :-) It is relaxing and get closer to the nature :-)
ReplyDeletevery nice place you have there! its like this in our farm back in asutralia. though my family loves to be in the busy city we still go and visit to those park with lots of trees on the weekends.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful. I rather spend my weekends like going into the woods rather than in the mall. Most our weekends if hubby is around we do our best to go in the state parks or weekend getaways nearby us.
ReplyDeletei would choose this kind of activity many times over than city walk or mall walk Rose, you are so right, there is so much to learn in the outdoors for kids, I am always inspired seeing and hearing kids asking so many intelligent questions out in the doors with nature, sometimes, i try to open my ears wide enough curious what the parents replies are :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful pictures, very relaxing.
Yes indeed, exploring the woods is great exercise and fun for the kids. All the green things in this post and the water and rocks are so inviting. I can almost hear birds chirping. :)
ReplyDeleteI have yet to explore the woods here in our places. I have not been to one. My husband and my daughter are both home-buddies. :-(
ReplyDeletePerfect, this also the activity I like getting involve in. Nature lover kasi ako at saka beauty lover. LOL
ReplyDeleteIt looks so serene out there! Spending time with nature is indeed more rewarding with all the benefits your Burritos will derive from it.
ReplyDeleteI love city and the woods/ nature!. In the woods there is fresh air and someday I would love to go on hiking. I'm sure your family have a fantastic time bonding with nature.

ReplyDeleteGoin into the woods is such a great adventure. A very relaxing hobby.
ReplyDeleteI love nature. Your post reminded of the time when I had a vacation in Sumilon Island. It was a rejuvenating trek for me to tour around the small island in less than 2 hours. It was a bliss.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful place!! I, too, love to spend time in places like this!! Wonderful captures for the day!! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLove the long walks in the wood. Everytime me & my family happen visit another area, country or wherever we ended, The feelings is really fresh and rejuvaniting. I feel stressing off.
ReplyDeleteI always do some meditation, i.e. Yoga or walk over a log to find the balance of myself and the nature.

So love getting out and enjoying walks in areas like this. The leaves, the light, the shadow, the scents of Nature all combine to make a happy spirit.
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful way to enjoy nature and what our Heavenly Father has given us.
