Thistles and Butterfly

I took these shots during our Panhandle Trail walk a couple of weeks ago. I did not know that this wild plants are called thistles until I saw it in one of the blogs I have visited last week. I only knew thistles in the pixie hollow (Tinkerbel) hahaha. The cartoon picture is so different from the real thistles.

I had so much fun shooting all these especially with the presence of the butterfly!
Thistles are thorny so I was really careful when I was walking to take some photos.
Lovely isn't it? I am so grateful to this butterfly for posing for me, she did not fly when I approached the place hehehe.

If all the subject of the photo shoot is like this beautiful and graceful butterfly, a photographers contentment is full hehehe.

There are so many butterflies this year that I can't get over my addiction in taking pictures of them. Will share some more later on but right now, I better go to bed as its past midnight already lol. Thanks fr dropping by friends! Your valuable comments are greatly appreciated!

  13. Wonderful shots, especially with the butterfly. Thistles are very pretty when they're in full bloom. The ones in New Zealand have beautiful purple flowers. (Scotch thistle). My farmer father goes around killing them because they're considered weeds here.
