Weed or Plant?

There's one green living thing that grew in my flower bed and I am not sure if it's a plant or a weed. It looks exotic so I did not bother to pull it out. Now it has a bloom and it looks like a dandelion a little bit.
This is her. does anyone know if it's a plant or a weed?
Whatever it is, it's pretty, even the old one is gorgeous!

  1. They are only weeds if they are unwanted-so if you like it-it is a plant! Pretty!

  2. Though these are considered weeds, to me they are beautiful plants.

  3. Yeah, those are weeds, Madam. We have so many of those in our pastures and they are so pretty but the cows won't eat those so we have to get rid of them.

  4. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - but what's in a name? There are offensive flowers and beautiful weeds. If I like it, it stays, If not,,,

  5. Your Yellow Goatsbeard Are pretty but are a weed. If you like them, keep them but they could become a problem plant. Enjoy the flowers, just don't let them go to seed if you don't want more. Or, spray the full seed heads with hairspray and take inside after drying, for a conversation piece.

  13. Kung nagagandahan ka at hindi naman nakakaperwisyo sa garden mo ay hayaan mo na lang. Ke plants o weeds yun ay nagbibigay din nang kasiyahan sa mata. Kasabihan nga, a thing of beauty is a joy forever. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

  15. I have those in my yard too! I wasn't sure if they were from the wildflower seeds that I spread in the flowerbeds or just a mutated dandelion!
