Aside from exercising, we also choose foods and snack that are healthy for us and the kids. Hubby and I agreed that in order for the kids to eat healthy, we have to be an example to them. With that being said, we always include them in our discussion on what to buy before we go to the store and do our grocery shopping. It's important that you get your kids involved in the discussion so they can voice out what they wand you can guide them roperly if they are off on the wrong track about spending and other concepts. Take for instance with the snacks that they like, e try to e4xplain to them what nutrient is in the snack that they want. They love fresh fruits and we also buy some canned fruits that we can just open whenever the need arises. One product that I would like to try is the new Quaker Soft Baked Bar that comes in two flavors that we like. I like banan flavored snack while my husband and kids love cinnamon flavored snack. But for a starter, I think I would try the Banana Nut Bread first because they also like bananas.
Quaker Soft Baked Bars is one perfect example of a wholesome food that is best for breakfast snack. It is packed with calories, fiber, protien and the 5 B-Vitamins. I think that if my father-in-law still has a good set of teeth, he would probabaly like these snacks too as he love bananas. How about you, what kind of snack do you usually buy for your kids? Would you consider buying the new Quaker Baked Bars? You can leave your opinion through the comment section.
