House in the Prairie

My daughter, Ms. Burrito,  brought home this project they made in religion class that says "My house is built on  the word of God."  This reminds me of the  song that my father-in-law used to sing  to my daughter when she was a baby, the "Little House in the Prairie."
I read these quotes by Mother Theresa online.

"Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do... but how much love we put in that action."
"Love begins by taking care of the closest ones - the ones at home."

  1. What a great lesson! I imagine they read about the house built of sand in the Bible.

  9. Hello.
As someone who exists in the image of love, you have to first love yourself before you can fully love another. When you have love within, it's easy to give out.
    Ms. Burrito is very creative.
    Thanks for sharing & visiting.

  10. good job, ms. burrito! agree that love begins at home, and sabi nga ng song, "wherever there is laughter ringing, someone smiling, someone dreaming, we can live together there, 'cause love will be our home... wherever there are children singing, where a tender heart is beating, we can live together there, 'cause love will be our home..." :)
