Baby Sparrow and the Intruder

Hi Baby Sparrow, are you lost?
No, I am not lost, but I am waiting for my Mom.
I can't fly yet so I am just walking around.  Mama told me that I'd be fine.
Well, are you going to be fine?
I guess I would be,  but I am scared of intruders like you.
Don't worry, you are safe with me. But I want to hold you   for a  brief moment so  I can show you to  my  children.
Note:
The baby sparrow was  unharmed after the photo shoot although the Momma Sparrow kept flying by and making weird noises.

  3. You're lucky that wasn't a robin because mom & dad peck anyone who gets within a foot of their babes!

    Beautiful captures.

Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

  13. What beautiful shots.

This reminds me of something that happened when I was a child. I saw a little bird asleep on grill. As it woke I almost instintively reached out and grabbed it...and caught it! I was so surprized to see it in my hand...I hadn't even thought about it, just reached and grabbed. It was amazing. I was pretty young...might have been in kindergarten.
