Dotted Lily

I am not sure if this kind of flower belongs to the lily family but am guessing it is as the flowers resembles one. Our neighbor has a lot of this in their front house.

    I have always heard this called a Tiger Lily. I don't see them much now that I live in the south, but they used to be abundant in my Western New York home.
