I had few of the black eyed susan in my garden and I love their blooms. They are one of the low maintenance flowers you could have in your garden, and the good thing is that they come back every year.
A little info about this plant taken from the newsletter I got from gardeningclub.com
Black-eyed Susan
Rudbeckia fulgida (Zones 4 to 9) has hairy foliage and yellow daisy-shaped flowers.
