Hollyhocks?

Below is a picture of a gremlin. This is exactly what is playing in my mind when I first saw the hollyhock (not sure if that's the name of the flower but that's what I've been told) the grow in my flowerbed.
Do you see the resemblance? I took this shot when the hollyhock was getting ready to bloom.
But anyhow, before I creep you out, look how beautiful its bloom is.
This flower to me looks like a crepe paper.
Hubby said it looks like a fake flower hehehe.
So there is my beautiful hollyhock turned into gremlin nyahahaha. Just kidding.
Alrighty folks, it's time for me to go to bed before i get a nightmare about the gremlin lol. Thank you so much for visiting and for leaving your valuable comments all the time, I love them! Reading comments is like my coffee time in the morning, so keep it coming folks..

  1. It really does look gremlinish until it blooms. Great shot; scary observation.

  4. Maganda nga yung hollyhocks mo although I must admit that this is the first time I've heard of that flower. Thanks for the beautiful post. God bless you all always.

  5. Mommy Rose, I have four kinds of hollyhock but not yet in bloom but yours is different and unique. Have you seen any hummingbird or butterflies around because they do like hollyhock. Happy Sunday!
