Hubby and my father in law told me that when my mother-in-law was still alive, she love collecting stuff like these. Makes me wish that she's still around when I came here, we have a lot of things in common.
Took these months ago and just now had the time to post about it.
Happy weekend everyone. We have a rainy weekend.

  1. What delicate shadows your collectibles have cast. I really like the man waiting to start his flamenco dancing.

  2. The decor reflects the home, the designs of the owner. The wonderful tastes of someone who has passed. We grieve for the loved ones who have departed. But their ideas, as you have captured, live as strongly as the memories. The sculptures on top of the cabinet are the visual memories of a special person.

This is a wonderful post, the love from the past stays on the shelves - and in our memories!

  3. Lovely collection and delightful shadow shots as well! Hope you've had a great weekend so far! Enjoy!

  4. I know what you mean - my husband tells me that his dad & I would have got along great!
How wonderful that you share something in common with her - that has to bring a smile (and maybe a shake of the head!) to your husband & your father-in-law!!

  5. so pretty! ako din sis...I wish the same thing...sana naabutan ko din MIL ko....we have the same thing in common too...ehehehe!

  6. I admire the valuable information you offer in your articles. I will bookmark your blog and have my children check up here often. I am quite sure they will learn lots of new stuff here than anybody else!
