Crab Apple

We have two kinds of apple trees at our back yard. One is edible and one is ornamental. My sister-in-law Michelle told me that the ornamental one is called crab apple. I love its bloom and it smells so good too. I took these shots when it was just starting to bloom.

I'll post the next series of photos next time when it's fully bloomed already. It's very pretty, although it attracts a lot bzzzzz bee hehehe.

These are just few shots that I took when they are just starting to bud.

Have a lovely day everyone and thanks fpor leaving your trail here at my page.

  3. Since the crab apples are not edible, are they poisonous. I ask this question because it is very dangerous for the fruit of the tree to be accidentally eaten by your children. If they are poisonous, they are a real threat to your children even if you warn them not to eat of its fruits because they are poisonous. Remember our first parents. They were forbidden by God to eat the fruits of the tree that grows at the center of the garden of Eden but they disobeyed God and ate from that tree and the rest is history. We don't want your children to be inadvertently poisoned, don't we? Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
