Valentine's Day reminds me of South Korea because of the flowers that I have frozen over time that we were there. The house that we live in inside the base supplied us with a huge freezer which gave me a lot of space to store these beauties. Unfortunately, I had to threw them away when we had to leave.
Now I learned my lesson, I don't freeze flowers anymore but I dried them. They may not look as fresh as the frozen ones but at least I can keep them for long.
Thanks for leaving your comment.
Your frozen gifts of love are so pretty. I can almost smell them, they look so fresh.
ReplyDeleteI have dried many flowers. As long as they are dried hanging upside down, they retain their loveliness longer. They hang everywhere in my home.
BlessYourHeart and Happy Valentines Day~~~soon

Lovely roses! Freezing them is no doubt a great way to preserve them. Thank you for sharing and a Happy Pink Saturday weekend and Happy Valentines day to you.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

How beautiful. Happy Valentine's Day and Pink Saturday.
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty! I add all the preservative that comes with the roses, to the vase and make sure there is NOT the amount of water the manufacturer suggests. I use a much smaller amount and I have learned that by doing this and just letting the roses rest, undisturbed, they will dry in an upright position. I have several bouquets I have done this way and then lightly sprayed with matte acrylic sealer and voila, beautiful roses to add to wreaths, etc.
