African Printed Dogs

These are images of the African Printed Dogs that I took when we visited  Pittsburgh Zoo.  I have seen a color like this in the Philippines but they are just ordinary dogs not like these African ones.  They look freaky but at the same time intriguing!  They call the place Painted Dog Bush Camp.  You may click the photo for a larger view.

  6. Great photos! The paint effect means that they are well camouflaged in their natural habitat.

  19. There are wild dogs like these roaming in the wild life in Africa. They are consummate hunters for they hunt in pack and they have their own tightly knit clan just like the lion's pride. There are also similar wild dogs in Australia called dingoes. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
