West Virginia : Wild and Wonderful with Videos

"Wherever you go, go with all your heart!"

I lived in West Virginia for 12 years now but I still  have to see a lot of what it has to offer.  There are so many beautiful  cities and small places here WV  that I haven't  seen yet.  We always tend to  want to  travel somewhere else that  a lot of times, we don't even realized how much more we could do if we just  explore our own.  In this  post, I am sharing some videos of Wayne  Worth.  I like all his videos because you can really learn  a lot of history about  West Virginia.  He  visits every county of WV and  tell  about it on the videos.
I took these photos in one of our mini road trips along the  Ohio and West Virginia roads.  Ohio and West Virginia are side by side, only  a river is diving it so you can pretty much  travel  by boat (if you have one) to explore these two beautiful states.

This part is on the Ohio side where you see the Steel Mill in Steubenville Ohio.
Seeing how the roads  were constructed always fascinates me.  You can see how much  work has been  put to it by blowing through mountains.  I have a high regard and admiration for  road construction workers, engineers and all the people involve in this kind of infrastructure  projects.
Roads and  bridges are great infrastructures  that connects one place to another.
Even when we  we are  going to certain places in West Virginia, we have to  drive through the Ohio side because it is faster.  Just like when I took these photos, we were  heading to Wheeling on this but the shorter  way to  go there is  by traveling to Ohio side.
The Wheeling Suspension Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the main channel of the Ohio River at Wheeling, West Virginia. This bridge  was the largest suspension bridge in the world from 1849 until 1851.
Our children's favorite favorite part of crossing  the bridge is  tunnel  at the end of it.  It always reminds  them the fun we had traveling in South Korea where tunnels are everywhere.
Here are some of the videos I have mentioned about.

I am also sharing a collage of photos by Dennis Jones, a local photographer who makes our little city so beautiful in his captured photos.. I hope you enjoy them. Credits to Wayne Worth and Dennis Jones for the videos.
