I got this 3-in-1 album set at Listia for free and I only paid for the shipping. I finally got done arranging the 1k+ copies of photos that I ordered last year. I only bought two albums that I used but the rest of the albums are from the said site.

Two more days to go and January is over. Here comes the love-month peeking at us. I am sure that some of you are already planning what to do on the special day for sweethearts. Some of you might have bought your gifts already or already planned what to buy for your love ones. As for me, I already bought what I am going to my husband. It is actually a valentine-birthday present as he celebrates his birthday three days after Valentine's day.
Have you every tried ordering flowers online? My husband used to do this when I was still in my country and he was in Guam. He would buy flowers and chocolate online and have it delivered at the school where I work. It's a pretty sweet thing, it always tickles my heart lol. But now that I am here and I have roses at my garden, no need to buy roses for me anymore unless it is winter where there is no flower available in my garden. I became a gardening addict when I came here, being a stay at home mom gave me an ample time to revive what I used to do when I was growing up, planting stuff in the garden. What I love about gardening here is that I have plenty of resources.
My former boss when I was still working as a student assistant was a diabetic. He was the Vice President at the Finance Office of the school where I graduated but is now assigned at the Catholic Trade in Manila. Aside from being a student assistant at the office, the priest administrators also helped me by letting me and one of the student assistants to live at the living quarter in school. It was a big help for me because I did not have to worry about my board and lodging expenses. But anyhow, I remember Fr. Joaquin watching the food that he eats because of his diabetic. He also takes regular medication for it. He used to instruct the cook at the quarters about his diabetic meal plan and the food that he shouldn't be eating. We still communicate till now but I haven't had the chance to ask if he still have the health problem that he had before. I wonder if he still follows the same diabetic meal plan and eat the same diabetic snacks like the way he did before. I hope that his health is getting better. I would like for my kids to meet this priest because he was a big part of where I am and who I am now. He was a like father to me when I was still a student.
Anyhow, if you are looking for some sources about diabetes information, you should check out 30 Day Diabetes Cure website. According to the information I read from this website, you can actually get rid of the drugs you are taking for your diabetes as long as you follow a healthy and appropriate meal plan. You can also read articles that are related to healing diabetes. We don't have diabetic in the family so I do not know much about the things that you should and should not eat. I found out that wild salmon is one perfect food for healing the people with diabetes.

My sister-in-law's Toy Fox Terrier, Ruby, was in heat last week so she let us keep her for a while so their male dog won't get her pregnant. Our Jack Russel Terrier, Champ, is already fixed so she is safe.
Love was in the air with these two hahaha. Ruby went home today and we got our new baby, Maximus. Will show him to you next time.

When my husband was still in the Navy, we moved constantly so we saved all the boxes from the products that we bought so that when we move again, we can still use the original boxes. Now that he is done, we are getting rid of all of them. I emptied our seller from those piles of boxes and store most of our unused stuff there.
Speaking of boxes, I remember the big shoe store in Ohio, they do not have wooden shelves for their display but they used their empty boxes to make shelves. It was pretty neat, too bad, I wasn't able to take a photo of it. Next time when we go there, I would try to take a shot so you can see.
Our planned project for this year includes turning our dining room into an additional bedroom. We still need to save for it but that is what our goal is for this year. The kids are getting big and they would both need to have their own separate bedroom. We have to save to buy the materials we would need to renovate it and we also have to buy another set of bedroom furniture.
I am so glad that my father in law gave us one bedroom set when we first moved in here. My husband said that one of his Aunt gave his parents that set and his Mom told him that whatever is in his bedroom when he was a kid would be his when he move out. That's why Dad gave it to us when we bought our house, which is very nice because it saves some money.
Anyhow, the selection of Drexel Heritage over at Savannah Collections are gorgeous. I have never seen one Drexel Heritage in the furniture store near our area so I was amazed by their selection. Savannah Collection also has some beautiful collection of Henredon. As I browsed the website, I came to realize that there so much to see when it comes to furniture.
Of all their selection, the Hatfield living room collection is my all time favorite. The set includes an arm chair, a love seat, and a three seater sofa. The original price is more than five grand but it is on sale for $1,878 right now. These items comes with a free standard shipping so that is a huge saving already. So if you want to find classic, modern, or contemporary kind of furniture, just visit any of the link above. They have bountiful and beautiful selection of any type of furniture.

I bought these colorful pens from the extra gift code that I had left from CSN last year. CSN is now called WayFair, I am kinda sad that the management changed. With CSN, I get to review products which gave me opportunities to buy products with the gift codes they gave me in return of a review. I actually accumulated different stuff from them including a book case, mixer, dog crate, hunting boots for hubs, educational toys for the kids, and a lot more.

During the first snow fall here in our area, the kids were so excited. It was so cold but they don't care, thay want to go out and have fun. We went to my FIL's home and let them sled ride but the snow was not a good one for sled riding.
Since they did not have much fun with their sled ride, they made snow angels even if the snow wasn't thick enough.

We were surprise about a package that came to our doorstep yesterday. It's a set of lunch bag and wallet with Sponge Bob design. Of course it tickled our celebrant's heart. We were puzzled to whose the sender is because we don't know anyone by that name.
I posted the photos in FB and found out that the package was from our friend from Texas. Not sure how is she related to the sender bu thank you to the Dias Family!
I bought two more albums at Walmart and filled it with pictures. I still have more pictures left though. I am waiting for the three albums that I won at Listia so I can finish it. My goal was to finish it last year but with so many activities, I wasn't able to.

I chatted with one of my friends that I work with when I was still in the Philippines. She also works in school and she envy my situation that I can just be a stay at home mom. She said that if she would be given a chance, the would stay home and take care of her kids rather than hiring a maid to the job for her. She also updated me with some of the incentive programs that the school has for all the employees. She said that it isn't much but it would help their finances a little bit. The school where I work is a private one so the benefits is not really stable unlike the one public schools. In public school, whatever incentive programs the government has, most of the employees will benefit from it. I private sector, the incentive depends on the performance of the company, if it's good then you'll get a decent amount but if the company is doing poorly, then you'll end up having just a few. I believe the employee recognition at the school where I work is being awarded during foundation day celebration. That is when the awardees are being given recognition with prizes. I could have been one of those employees a couple of years ago hehehe but I don''t regret my decision. I a happy where I am now and with who I am, which is my heart and soul. my family!
But anyhow, if you are looking for a car, most of the car dealers nowadays are offering different kinds of online rewards and incentives when you buy a vehicle. My husband like the warranty that the KIA is giving to the customers. You may check out the Online Rewards website to see which vehicle offers huge incentive o r rewards.
My FIL has this battery-operated massager which Mr. Burrito love to play with. It's a nice little thing to massage your back or sore muscles but the sound triggers my migraine all the time wahhh. But for the sake of my son's happiness, I'll take the migraine.
My sense of smell is very strong but my vision isn't. If I would be given a choice, I would rather have a good vision than a strong sense of smell so I don't have to smell my sweetheart's not-so-pleasant fart lol. Peace hon! But seriously, I'd rather see things than smell them. But there's nothing I can do as it is what's given to me so I might as well utilize it. I started wearing an eyeglasses when I was 17 years old. I have a condition called nearsightedness. As I age, it's getting worse. Everything in a far distance is so blurry to me. That's why when we go places, I wear my eyeglasses. The reason I don't wear them more often than I should is that it gives me migraine.
I think, it is time for me to get a new pair of eyeglasses so I could see better when my husband is far away lol. Sometimes when we go to the store and I get separated from them, it's hard for me to find him when I don't have my eyeglasses. The selection of Valentine’s Day glasses at Zenni are very fashionable and the price is unbeatable. I really have to put this on my list so I won't forget. Better yet, I would let my sweetheart handle this for me, he's better on this than me lol.

Finding deals is one of my utmost goal for this year. We have a couple of loans to pay off this year so saving a little bit of money here and there can help us tailor our finances. We bought our son something for his birthday and we got it for an awesome deal. That's one of the things I like shopping when holiday is over because most of the store will put a lot of stuff for cheap. I think that instead of putting back the items in their inventory, they rather sell it for a lower price.
Aside from bargain hunting in stores, I also browsed for deals online. I got interested when I first seen the nomorerack at one of the blogs that I have visited a week ago. At first, I thought, oh it is just one of those organization that will lure customers into signing up and then when they are in, that's when the hidden truth will come out. But I was wrong with my first m notion, I did dig up more info about the website through reading the information available at nomorerack.com. The website has a great set up, very user friendly, and you will be able to find what you are looking for right away. What I like is the flat rate shipping that only cost $2. I don't like website that has low prices on their items but they charge you an arm and a leg for the shipping.
NoMoreRack is a company that offers designer clothing and high end accessories. Their electronic products are dirt cheap too. Imagine buying an iPad for $43.20? That's an insane deal isn't it? So what is the catch? None! You just have to work a little bit because in order to enjoy their deals, you have to have a number of referrals. The more people you can refer to the site, the better chances of you grabbing deals. So check them out and start saving money in buying things that you love. Just visit any of the links I have provided above and see more details about the site. Don't forget to share your experience.
A Guest Post from Simon
Sony and Ericsson have been producing phones together now for 10 years. The two companies joined forces in 2001 after they were both experiencing difficulties in the industry. They went on to become one of the most popular brands, introducing music and video playback as well as digital cameras to mobile phones, features that we all now take for granted. But the partnership was hit hard by the launch of the iPhone in 2007 and failed to adapt to a changing market.
The end of last year saw Sony purchase Ericsson's stake in the Sony Ericsson partnership, in an attempt to have more control over the design and production of the phones. The new Xperia S, unveiled this week at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), is the first attempt by Sony to produce a phone on its own since 2001. First impressions suggest this could be something quite refreshing – and offer a lot more appeal than the Xperia phones that have been on sale for the last few years.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia range originally made quite a bit of an impact, but mobile phone delas for the devices started to dwindle as new models were stale, failed to keep up with technological development and had no unique qualities to separate them from earlier models.
The Xperia S does appear to resolve these problems. It doesn't look too much like earlier Xperia phones, having its own unique rectangular casing, but still retains a distinctly Sony feel to it. It also has a transparent band around its lower half that will really make it stand out from the rest of the smartphone market – even if it is just a cosmetic twist rather than a useful feature.
This is also the first phone from Sony to use a dual core processor, showing that they are starting to keep up with the pace of tech development too. This is not cutting edge, dual core phones first went on sale nearly a year ago, but it is long overdue on a Sony phone. Quad core phones are just around the corner but for the time being this is one of the most high powered smartphones around.
It won't run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich, instead coming with Gingerbread – but Sony appear to have put in a lot of effort redesigning their Android interface and Timescape feature. The phone also benefits from a pretty decent 12mp camera with LED flash and 1080p video, making it stand out a bit from current industry leaders like the Galaxy S2 and iPhone 4S.
The screen is another area where this phone will shine. The LED backlit LCD technology is similar to that of the Xperia Arc, but this comes with a much higher 720p resolution, support for Mobile BRAVIA Engine and even comes with 10-finger multitouch support. It is hard to see where that last feature will truly come in handy, but it is an interesting addition nonetheless.
Although it has only been a couple of months, Sony's decision to take over the Sony Ericsson enterprise in order to produce better handsets appears to be paying off. This is just the start and, like Nokia, Sony could be about to experience a bit of a comeback if things all go to plan.
My daughter got a set of four boxes of 500-piece puzzle by Simple Times for Christmas. This kind of puzzle is not really for kids of her age because they're very small, so it is hard to build it. Hubby and I helped her complete one.
I must admit, it was tough completing it, I think my eye sight went ZigZag on this one.. I stayed at home one day when hubby and kids went to my FIL and I worked on this baby for hours. When they came back, hubby helped me finish it.
