Columbine

Columbine flowers are beautiful.  These shots  were taken at my SIL's garden.  My neighbor has some columbine too but they are in pink.  She gave me some seeds to plant but I am not sure if  it's going to grow hehehe.
Columbine and  lupine are two of my husband's favorite flowers.

Big Baby

My SIL's dog, Fat Boy, is a big baby.
He is very playful  and harmless.
Chris said that  it cost $75  to cut his thick hair, whew!
Fatboy and Ms. Burrito are the same, they both likes their belly rubbed hehehe.

The Eyes

When I nature trek, I notice even the odd things such as these beauties.
To me, they are the eyes of the trees that watches  us and other  creatures.

Carps

We saw a lot of carps down the waterfall at Tomlinson Run Creek. They were huge but of course no one wants to catch carp.
I took these shots from the top with  a point and shoot Sony cybershot.
Our son wanted to  go down there and catch some fish hehehe.
Hubby said that this place used to be  beautiful but now it's filthy due to  Canadian Geese's poop.
This is a scheduled post.  Thank you for visiting.

Butterfly, butterfly, please don't fly.

While watching my burritos and hubby enjoying themselves in the pool at Starvaggi, this mini butterfly landed on Ms. Burrito's sandal.
While I was waiting for my point and shoot camera to  clear up, I was saying "Butterfly, butterfly, please don't fly".   I zoomed but it came out blurry.  Oh well, at least she did not fly hehehe.

Scheduled post,

The Rabbit

Do you see  the bunny?  Just a random shot I took when we went to  Starvaggi Park one day.

Another scheduled post.

Dotted Lily

I am not sure if this kind of flower belongs to the lily family but am guessing it is as the flowers resembles one. Our neighbor has a lot of this in their front house.

Religious Statues

These statue images were taken in front of St. Paul Church and St. Paul School.

Worry ends where faith in God begins.
In prayer, God hears more than words:
He listens to your heart."

4th of July Bloom

I forgot what my SIL called this flower, according to her this blooms during the celebration of the 4th of July.
Thanks  to those who identified the above flower as Bee Balm, hope I won't forget anymore.
Above is also a  bloom  from my SIL Jill's garden, I believe it is a some kind of daisy.

Pink Shoes - Got it for Free!

Yup, you have read it right. I got this pair of beautiful Life Stride shoes for only two Listia credits. I am not very active with Listia but once in a while, if I do remember, I check and post something to facebook and tweet on twitter so I could earn points.
It's been a while since I last use my listia credits so the  other day, I bid on this beautiful shoes and won it. Originally, I supposed to pay the shipping but the seller was so  nice that she shipped it for free, awesome!  The shoes has never been worn, the seller forgot that she put it in her closet after she bought it.
So what are you waiting for, sign up at Listia and get some  stuff that you like for free.  It is also a  good way to get rid of the things that you don't need anymore.

Palm Shadows

The shadow of the palm water fountain over at Starvaggi's Splash Zone.
I find the shadows of this  water fountain very pretty as every water has it's own  shadows.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Yard Art

I took a snap of this  unique  yard art   in Chester.  I always  glanced at it every time we go to my BIL's house.  There is one thing that I want to take a picture of too at my SIL Chris's neighborhood.  It's a big old plow that they  used to  decorate their yard.
Hydrangea is one of the many blooms during summer  that I adore.

Sale Items

My FIL gave Ms. Burrito a cash gift for her birthday so we accompanied her to the Toy "R" Us store. I found some sale item such as these pairs of flip flops for $3.99.
I bought a pair for me and Ms. Burrito since it is  on sale for One Buy, Get One Free,.
I also found these games on the sale item rack for $2.01. These are the kind of games that Ms. Burrito love to play.
My husband taught her how to play  chess for the first time and she  immediately learn how.

Zoo in the City?

We went to Pittsburgh last Friday to buy some oriental goodies at the Strip District where oriantal stores are.  It was raining so to make it less boring, I took some random shots while hubby is trying to find some parking spot.
The UPMC building.  Do you see the flag on top of the roof?
There's actually four different flags  displayed there.
What shocked me is to find a ZOO in the city? Lol, it's actually an entertainment building.  I wonder if the entertainers there  are dressed like animals? Lol!
The reflection of the  water tank on this building.
Beautiful  artwork on the  building wall.
Do you see the message that says "Jesus Loves You"?
Nothing fancy, just a sign of one of the dining place in the strip.
What I like about Pittsburgh is the presence of so many bridges.
Thanks for dropping by folks!
