Poppies

We went for a family walk the other day to give all of us some exercise while enjoying the beauty of the environment. We passed by this house with pretty poppies blooms in their yard and I couldn't resist not to take a few snaps.
We will be out for a party today. Thank you for your visit and comments! Will try to bloghop tonight.

  1. I'm so amazed at how much you know about the different flowers and their names! I only know of roses, tulips, lilies, baby's breath, sunflowers, and daisies ata. :D

  5. Are they really poppies Rose. What I know about poppies is that they are prohibited plants where opium is derived. Of course I might be wrong. I'm going to research on this. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

  6. Oh I am sorry about my previous comment Rose. I just found out that there are several kinds of poppies and the poppy I was mentioning was the opium poppies of Asia. The poppies in your picture are probably California poppies or am I wrong again? Sorry for the error. Naguulianin na kasi. God bless you all.
