Tarantula

I took a picture of this tarantula at a pet store a couple of weeks ago.  Spiders is one of my husband's  big  fear.. oppps.  I grew up  in a farm so catching different kinds of spiders was one of the things that we love to do as kids.  But of course we didn't see tarantula at our place.  I'd be scared of this one too lol.

  3. Yes, tarantulas are really scary because they are a lot bigger than the average sized spiders and because of their hairy appearance not to mention that their bites are poisonous. Tarantulas and Black Widows are two of the deadliest spiders thereabout. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.

  6. I am usually terrified of spiders, but for some reason I went through a phase where I thought it would be fun to have a pet tarantula. My mom did not agree. I did get to hold one a couple of years ago at a children's museum though. It crawled from my hand back into the keeper's hand, and boy did that tickle!

  14. Not so cute. When I was 12 visiting Arizona, I saw two. I wanted to step one with my bare foot, but my mother saw what I was about to do and stopped me. Haha...
