I haven't been in the photos with my burritos lately. This is the latest I could find which was taken during my husband and I's wedding anniversary. Can you tell how guilty I am for leaving them at my FIL's home while my husband and I went for a dinner date? LOL, yup, I am not really used to leaving them.

Saying Sorry

My husband once told me that in the military, saying sorry is a sign of weakness and I keep telling him that it might be a sign of weakness but when you're at fault, you have to say and mean it.

Happy Go Lucky

Two shots that I took of my happy go lucky young lady. These were taken at my FIL's back porch after church. We always go to his house after attending mass.

This would be the last day of my kindergärtner's first week of school. So far she is doing so good. According to her teacher, she is doing excellent! Thanks for making us proud Rye!

Health Care Jobs

The healthcare jobs in the area is increasing according to my friend who is a LPN. She even encouraged John to just finish what he started before but hubby is determined to try a new line of work. It would be a challenge for him but I think that he would do just fine when he is done with his education in school. He said that he started to like the concept of it now that he could grasp some of the basic things that he need to know. Hopefully, he would land a good job in the area.

The steel Scraps and Coils

We were driving home yesterday from visiting my FIL and got stuck from the rail road for five minutes or so. he train was pulling a lot of steel scraps. It also gave me a chance to take a picture of the steel coil that was laying adjacent to the road. It's actually my husband who took the steel coil's shot.

My former Job

Looking back six years ago, kinda miss my job as a secretary to one of the offices in the school where I graduated. During those times that I work, my life was just a routine, house and work. I've learned so much though from y former job as I deal with a lot of people and a lot of challenges especially during the school's accreditation process. We did not have a scanner at our office then so it was a big challenge for me to have all the documents scanned from other office. I would be so much nicer I guess if they could have provided us with scanner software that could make it faster for me to file all the documents that some of the school departments are asking. That made me think why despite of those challenges, I am not so confident here in the US when it comes to dealing with stuff. Maybe I just need some training again to earn back my confidence.

Taking pictures is what keeps me busy whenever we are driving somewhere. I took these shots when we went to Pittsburgh a couple of weeks ago. Pardon for the poor angle of the photos. It is hard to get a good picture when the vehicle is moving, let alone my camera is not that good hehehe.

Super Snouts

Oh Lord, I have been meaning to upload photos I took about the animals in Pittsburgh Zoo but my life is so busy these days. I told my friend that I would take care of her baby when she goes back to work but I don't think I could do it with my schedule, whew!

We actually just got back from the Vet, we brought Champ there to have his leg checked because his cast was coming off already and it was irritating his thigh. Good thing he is healing up already so the Vet removed his cast. He is due for a last xray on Tuesday.

Anyhow, here are the shots I took of the "super Snouts".. Elephants.

It was so hot when we went there last weekend so these giant beauties were dusting off their body.

Good thing that they have water to swim too.

We went inside the building where elephant can rest and eat and the place where kids can pet them for $15 fee. We just indulge our eyes watching the elephant and did not bother to pet them, too expensive lol.

Briefcase

I always admire those executive people who carry briefcases whenever they go to work, attend meetings, or conferences. My husband has one where we keep all of our important documents. It served as our main aid when we travel overseas because it's a safe one to bring for holding your travel documents and stuff. New Haircut for Hubby

I have been wondering how my husband would look like with a very short hair. He doesn't like it because he said he look horrible. Local Jobs

The main reason why my husband switched his former course into Accounting is the local jobs that are available in this area. With accounting, there are so many job opportunities here that he could be employed with compared to the course he was taking then. Although I know that the former course he was taking was his forte but we have to consider the availability of the job over here. How about you folks, do you search for local job first before pursuing a degree?

Thistles and Butterfly

I took these shots during our Panhandle Trail walk a couple of weeks ago. I did not know that this wild plants are called thistles until I saw it in one of the blogs I have visited last week. I only knew thistles in the pixie hollow (Tinkerbel) hahaha. The cartoon picture is so different from the real thistles.

I had so much fun shooting all these especially with the presence of the butterfly!

Thistles are thorny so I was really careful when I was walking to take some photos.

Lovely isn't it? I am so grateful to this butterfly for posing for me, she did not fly when I approached the place hehehe.

If all the subject of the photo shoot is like this beautiful and graceful butterfly, a photographers contentment is full hehehe.

We live in a state where country music is very popular and most of the radio stations over here plays it all the time. Cute Body Parts

I used to take photos os my kid's cute body [arts such as arms, egs, chubby cheeks, eyes, and so on when they were babies. Dreaming of Vacation

We might go camping this weekend depending on what we came up with with the other members of the family who will go with us. We don't know for sure yet where we are going but hopefully it will be materialized.

I wish that I could some kind of a contest that would grant us to stay even a week or so to stay at one of the beautiful and spacious Outer Banks vacation rentals from Carolina Designs. I bet the kids would love to splash all day in the swimming pool or we could play at the game room when we don't feel like going out.
