I took these shots when we went to the library last weekend. This is placed in front of the library. I believe this is made of steel and I find it very pretty. Library is one fun place to go if you have small tots like me. There is just magic in the books that attracts kids.

Back pain

Me and my girlfriends chatted online until almost three last night and I am so sleep right now lol. To top that my back hurst too huhuhu. How about you ladies, were you able to sleep last night after our chitchat? I am planning to give my husband a massage tonight because he was also complaining of a back pain. I think it's because he worked so hard yesterday cleaning our front porch walkway and walls using the pressure washer. Now he said that his back is killing him.

Good thing that our pains are just normal, I mean nothing really serious. I feel bad for those who are seriously in pain because they have to go to a facility like Austin Physical Therapy just to make themselves better. Have you ever gone or experience having a physical therapy for something? I always pray that none of my kids or my husband will ever go through therapy sessions due to some serious illnesses. I can't imagine how hard it would be.

New Real Estate Site Launch

Call it crazy but my husband is being obsessed with real estate lately. He has been browsing all the properties that are for sale around our area and scouting for a good deal. He talked to a financing agent this morning t see if we would qualify for another mortgage. The agent said that we qualify but I told my husband to just wait because we don't really need to do it right now, especially that our budget is limited.

I told him to just wait till he graduates before making a big decision as he never know what his future job will bring us next. We might end up going to North or South Carolina, who knows. If that happens, we can just browse the Wilmington Homes and Properties Available Here and other places ad we are good to go. Right now, I am contented to where we are because it is near to everything (ie. school, store, post office, and etc.) His main concern is when both of our kids are grown up already as we will really need a bigger house. Right now, both of our kids are sharing a room. So maybe later on, we can find one that will suit our family's needs.

From Rhubarb Leaf

I took these shots when we visited my sister-in-law a couple of days ago. This particular water bowl r whatever you call it, caught my attention. She said that she made it out of a rhubarb leaf. Hmmmmmm, pretty cool isn't it? She put it in her little pond at the backyard.

Rain Boots

I stumbled upon a blog who talked about her gardening tools and accessories and one that caught my eyes was the rain boots that she had on on the photo. It was pretty so out of curiosity, I searched for rain boots online and found the pretty one below. Isn't it stylish? Our weather for a couple of weeks has been crazy, sometimes it is very hot and sometimes it rains. I am not so fond going out to assist the dog in doing their business when it's raining. I think, having a pair of rain boots would be nice.

Van for Family

My husband planned to get us a van when we were still in Korea last year and until now it is still in his mind. I talked him into trading our Honda accord so that the monthly payment wouldn't be big just in case we get one. He doesn't want to give up our sedan though, he said that if he wants to trade one, it will be the truck.

Right now, he still need the truck as he is doing some renovation at the house. So I told him to just wait till next year. He really want to get a van because our present vehicle is getting too small for the four of us especially if we are inviting my FIL to go with us somewhere.

He also need to get some parts for the car because he need to replace some of it. He was browsing carID the other day and showed me the body kit available for our vehicle. Having a vehicle is a must and it's convenient but it cost a lot to maintain it. Good thing there are places where you can buy parts for less such as carID. It is also advantageous that my husband has brother who has a car repair shop because he can just buy the parts and bring it to him and his brother can put it all together for a lesser price.

Petunias

I love petunias because it comes in different colors when they bloom. You can also gather the seeds when they get old and plant them the next year. Aren't hose pretty? Petunias makes pretty hanging plants in your patio.

Spider Man Fishing Pole

We bought this fishing pole for our son to practice. Both of our kids love to go fishing but we still have get our license to do so. For the meantime, they are practicing at our backyard hehehe. My son used this when we had her sister's birthday at Raccoon Creek.

Bark Off

When we adopted Chesea, her bark always gave me a migraine. she just can't quit barking. We mentioned it to my sister-in-law and she gave us this barking collar, it fixed the barking problem I feel bad though when Champ (our other dog) is barking because the bark collar juices here.

Sparkle Blush

My sparkle blush are blooming now. Thanks to the seeds that I kept from the previous years before we went to Korea. I grew them this year and I am glad that they are doing pretty well.

EJ's Obsession

My little man's new obsession ever time we hang out at our front porch is to pick the petals of the roses and spread them in the walkway or in the flower bed.

He said that it's for the bunny to eat. We have a baby bunny frequent visitor who constantly eat my flowers in front of our house (pic above, please click to enlarge).

Hard Drive

The hard drive of the computer I am using right now is getting full of documents so when I turn it on, it is making a loud noise and it is loading so slow. My husband bought us an external hard drive to transfer some of the important document in both of our PCs so that we could delete them in our hard drive. Rustic Furniture

You might have seen the photos I uploaded here months ago about the patio set at my backyard. It is made with cement and my family rarely use it as it is very rough especially for the kids. It was there when hubby and I bought the house. My husband wanted to ditch it but I disagree just because I don't have a replacement for it. I was planning to put some tiles on top of it as my project but since I am so occupied, I can't do it. Hubby has so many tiles left over when him and I renovate the basement so I really want to use that.

He's been wanting to have a rustic furniture for the patio like the one you above so that all of us can sit there when the weather is warm like now. Sigh, so many things that I need to buy but can due to shortage of finances. Maybe next year, I would be able to save up for it.

At an early age, we are teaching our kids how to save money. We also started a mutual fund for each of them ever since they were born in preparation of their college education and other needs. The mutual funds contribution is being taken out from my husband's pay every month so it is like treated as an expense but in actuality it's a savings for them. We used to do it twice a month but now that hubby is retired and his retirement pay is minimal, we just do it once a month which is still good.

For the past couple of days, our IRA and my son's mutual fund went high which I am very happy about as we are recuperating the loss that we got last year when the market crashed down. Teaching our kids in spending their money wisely and saving some for their future use is a good thing that we can do as parents. Even small savings can add up as time goes by. I was socked when I saw that all my blogs went to PR0 at one of the websites where I write for reviews a couple of weeks ago. I thought for sure that I lost the page rankings of my three blogs. Hubby wanted to renovate the front porch this year but I told him to just wait till we have some saving for it. I really don't want to have another big loan to pay as my daughter will start school and I don't know what are the expenses that lies ahead.

Both of us have excellent credit score right now which qualifies us from getting great interests on a loan but it is better to just wait. Piling up debt is a big burden in my chest, I can't sleep when bills are piled up every month especially now that he is retired. The household income is very minimal from his retirement pay so I really have to be wise in spending them.
