I love to visit at my sister-in-law's house as I enjoy roaming around at her huge backyard. One thing that make me smile when I see plants here in the States is the plants that we use to grow in the Philippines to eat such as camote (sweet potato) and gabi or (taro plant) are being planted here as ornamental.

She has a big vegetable garden, I just took shots of the asparagus (left) and the lettuces and spinach.

She has two kinds of pear tree. One has gree fruit and the other has color maroon.

I Can Do it!

My daughter has been begging me to let her give Chelsea a bath. I was hesitant to let her do it at first because the iron sink at the laundry room in our basement is too deep and tall. I let her try to do it last week and she enjoyed it so much.

Pardon for the undesirable background hehehe, our laundry area isn't done yet. That's the part where we left unfinished with our renovation.

iPod Accessories

Do you own an iPod? I don't, coz I can't afford it hahaha. Seriously speaking, whenever you need an ipod accessories for your ipod, what place do you go to shop? I bet you have a favorite store to buy it. If I ever own one, I'll go online and compare prices for it's accessories. I don't really need an iPod but it would be great to have one. I am a very practical person so those things that I really don't need are set aside.

Weed or Plant?

There's one green living thing that grew in my flower bed and I am not sure if it's a plant or a weed. It looks exotic so I did not bother to pull it out. Now it has a bloom and it looks like a dandelion a little bit.

Summer is here so my family is always out doing outdoor activities. Hubby want the kids to enjoy the rest of the warm weather before winter would lock us inside again. That is why, I haven't done blog hopping in full swing. I miss doing it since I get a lot of comments and visit back. But hubby is right so I am with them all the time too, I can only blog during night time when they are all in bed.

House Painting

Painting can be so much fun but after a while you get wore out and exhausted especially if the part you are painting is the ceiling of the house. I love painting job but I can only endure painting the walls. I don't like painting the ceiling as it very painful in the neck lol. When hubby and I decided to renovate or improved the house before finally moving, him and i and with the help of the family painted all parts of the house including the ceiling. It was fun for all of us.

Speaking of which, I need to repaint the basement because my kids decided to write crayons around the wall.

Fern

I adore this fern that Michelle (my SIL) has in her garden. Isn't that gorgeous? I have seen so many of this when I was growing up in the Philippines but I never paid attention as they were lots of them in there. I just now had the chance to appreciate its beauty.

Something that grows on a Tree

Whenever I am out in the woods, one of my favorite subject to take pictures with are the trees. There's something about trees that seems to take to you every time you look at them. Weird eh?

What I love is that, you can see pretty organisms/living things growing in 'em too. Like this one (not sure what it's called) that I saw in Tomlinson Run Park.
