Our Alone Time

Oh boy, it is so nice to be back home. Staying here at my FIL for a while gives my husband and I some alone time together like going out for a walk even on a cold winter night. He asked me the other if I want to go for a walk so I grabbed my camera and went.
It feels like we were just dating a couple of months ago and here we are with our two precious ones. I will be forever thankful for the Internet technology because it led me to my husband's heart.
Thanks to those dating sites that gives one week trial for free, I got to met my sweetheart. Nowadays, a lot of them are born such as vampire chat free and other specific sites that offer their services for free.
These photos were taken during our walk that my husband called a date hehehe.
After a we walk a couple of blocks, my feet were numbed already and I told my husband that I couldn't go any further anymore. So we went home, it was a nice little walk of just the two of us.
Now, I am not saying that we don't want the kids around. Its just sometimes, couple need some alone time. Do you agree? Thanks to my father-in-law who love playing with the kids.
When we arrived home, my daughter was giving us a hard time because she wanted to go too but we told her that we will take her the next night to see the lights.
I think hubby will post our family walk in his blog.
Have a happy holidays folks.

  13. That is a nice neighborhood, Rose...most of the housed look like they were in a Christmas spirit.
I used to do the same but for the first time, this year, garlands and Christmas lights only adorn our front door ... and oh, wreath too.

  20. That neighborhood looks very festive, how nice that you and hubby got to go out for a little alone time. I agree, it's very important to spend time alone together. When I was small my folks would always have "date night" - even when they couldn't afford to go out they would dress up nice and fix themselves a nice private dinner, with candlelight etc. We kids had pizza and then watched TV in the other room, and took care of ourselves for the night! We learned from them the power and importance of a little romance in a marriage. It's a lesson I've never forgotten.
    Have a lovely holiday.

  21. Well, I think that was a perfectly lovely date and I agree with you completely that you need alone time away from the kids — it's healthy for them and fabulous for the two of you!

Merry Christmas to your lovely family.
