Women Over Men

Yes, I made it this time hehehe. I wasn't able to participate for last week's theme of this new meme called by Niko of Girl's rule. This week's theme is the what women can do that men cannot! Let’s show them why we girls are over boys :).

>First of all, man cannot blog like us, as in 24/7 hahahha (just kidding).
>Most women are more patient than men.
>Women especially Moms can do a multi tasking job... cooking while doing the laundry, taking care of the kids, cleaning, etc.
>Women are better with tweaking layouts and stuff, men seldom do that hehehe.

Pixel bug weekend

We spent our pixel bug weekend at the lake where we usually goes, our favorite place to hangout to enjoy a family walk with lots of fresh air and green scenery. We met a Filipina named Diana and her two daughters.
It was our first time going there where water was very very low. This used to be full of water when the tide is high.Mr. Impatient want to go for a walk already while Daddy and Rylie were still feeding the fish.It wasn't as good as when the tide is high because the fish were kicking the mud and we can't see them very good.Father and daughter bonding. My burritos found a pile of sand so they played with it.Even if it's dirty, we let them play because they certainly love it.Then they wash their hands after wards. They met this Korean boy who played with them for a while. She also met a little korean girl on the waySee how low the water is?Our kids are up to adventures all the time. They're not scared to try things. After our long walk, my husband and I sat in one of the kiosk but burritos just keep playingIt's nice to see that our kids appreciates the beauty of nature.
She wants to climb the tree.
So Dad came to the rescue.and helped her. What I love about this place is that it is full of flowers and tress. It makes your walk truly enjoyable.

So that was how our weekend goes. If you want to join us for our Pixel Bug Weekend fun, just click the link above guys. Happy birthday once again Sassy Mommy!

Longing for a Pet

Going home from Daegu today, our daughter asked us if she can have a pet when we go back to the mainland. We told her that we really planned to get one when we get back there since they are already big enough to tolerate pets at home.

The main reason why we did not get a dog before was that they are still very young then. But now that they are in the ages where they can play and help us take care of a dog, we will definitely get us one. My husband want a bulldog but I would like to have a Labrador or a Retriever because they are a great family dog.

Ribbit Ribbit

Yesterday was one froggie afternoon. My husband took our little ones at the play area beside our house and they saw this lovely frog. My husband came running inside the house to get the camera. The kids had so much fun watching it.
I wonder if he would turn into a prince hehehe..
Here's our burritos having a glory watching the exhibitions that the frog was doing.
My husband said that Mr. Froggie leaped in EJ's shirt and he freaked out a little bt. Hubby wasn't able to take a picture because EJ got scared.
This one was taken a couple of weeks ago when we were watering our plants. I am not sure if he is the same frog that they saw yesterday but they look the same hehehe..

Alrighty guys, have a FRoggie day, ribbit ribbit!

Sunday BBQ with friends

Before the summer is over, we have decided to grill some BBQ and invite some Korean friends over. We only have five guests but we really had fun especially the kids. Here's the pork ribs BBQ. I marinated it overnight and boil it in the morning before we grill it. It tasted so good!
Hubby also grilled some Bubba burger patties and hotdogs for the kids.
I also boiled some corn on a cob. It's a frozen corn from bird's eye brand but it tasted fresh and very sweet. We always buy a pack or two of it.
Hubby baked a pan of brownies.
And I made some pancit.
We also made fruit salad.
Here's Rylie's new found friend In Na.
With Amy, Sun He, Mia, and Kevin.
The kids, they had so much fun playing inside and outside the house.
We walk them down to the gate after the sumptuous meal.
Thanks for visiting us guys and we are happy that you like the food we served you. Thanks for the kimchi you brought us guys and for the flowers.

the Grass Hopper

When my husband mowed the grass last weekend, my son wanted to go out with him. So of course, I have to be out there and watch my ornery fella. I've seen a grass hopper and hold it in my arm. Surprisingly the little greeny did not try to hop. When my daughter got done taking shower, she went out without brushing her hair and took the grass hopper and hold it for a long time.
The little booger pooped in my arm lol..

My kids are very fascinated with insects and other little creatures that surrounds us.
Her she is blissfully entertained with the crawling GH..
Have a great weekend everyone!
